In May 2001, 2E Studio, then trading as Coral Tree Web Design, was established with the intention of offering affordable web design solutions to small, medium and micro enterprises. In 2004 we idenitified a gap in the computer training market for high-quality, topic-specific courses, and as a result, expanded our offerings to include courses and workshops, focusing on Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, as well as CorelDRAW, Photoshop, The GIMP and Scribus.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our courseware, all developed in-house, based on years of experience in both training and content development.  These courses can also be customised to meet the client's training requirements. We are aways looking at ways to save our clients time and money, and as a result, we have come up with the idea of offering workshops. These workshops are basically very short (2 to 3 hours) sessions on very specific topics. To see a list of our workshops, please visit the Workshops page.

As a natural outgrowth our training offerings, we also offer end-user support (via Google Remote Desktop), and virtual assistant services. In order to meet the demand from our clients for remote teaching, we are available for online coaching sessions via the Zoom platform.  

As part of our web design services, we were sometimes required to take photographs on behalf of the client for use on the website. We therefore decided to develop our capabilities in this area. As a result, in early 2019, we opened our photographic studio under the name 2E Studio. In addition to product photography for the web and advertising material that we already undertake, we now also offer studio portraits and personalised business cards. For more information, click on the Photography menu item. Since the plan was to develop photography as one of our core offerings, we made the decision to operate the entire business under this name. At the same time, we discontinued our web design services due to low demand.

When the Covid-19 pandemic broke out in early 2020, 2E Studio, like many businesses turned to the Internet and e-commerce as a way of replacing income lost due to the lockdown.  As a result we launched The Indie Bookshop in June 2020 in order to provide self-publishing authors with a platform to sell their works.  Please visit the Self-Publishing page for more information.
